Jeremy Lewis- Drafted in the 23rd round by the Detroit Tigers in 1999

A native of Concord, NC, Lewis was originally a 23rd round draft pick of Detroit in 1999, spending his first four seasons in the Tigers farm system. He enjoyed great success as a starter in the Frontier League for a pair of seasons with Evansville, and went 9-4 with a 2.47 ERA in 2004, earning a contract back to affiliated ball with Milwaukee. Moved back to the bullpen, Lewis submitted ERA’s of 2.95 and 3.65 with Brevard County in 2005 and 2006 respectively, combining for 16 saves during that span. He also made a second tour of duty with the Tigers’ organization, before spending the last three seasons in the Atlantic League with York, Camden, and Somerset.
